CEO and Founder
Donna Lanzetta is an attorney and entrepreneur with a passion for sustainable seafood production. Motivated by a concern for our world’s growing population, our fixed/declining wild fish stocks, and the urgent need to feed our burgeoning numbers, Manna Fish Farms is awaiting permits to operate open ocean fish farms, in Federal waters, eight miles off the coast of Eastern Long Island, and 23 miles off the coast of Pensacola Beach, Florida.
Mike Meeker
COO
After attending the University of Wisconsin, where he studied Zoology, Mike Meeker played professional hockey for a few years. Following a brief period in British Columbia where he ran a hatchery, Mike settled on the West end of Manitoulin Island in 1984 with his family.
He started with a 20 foot square pen made from logs he cut in the bush and a hand sewn net. Over the next 30 years the operation expanded and evolved to comprise 14 submersible open net pens, and one Stormsafe Submersible hex pen. Mike developed a reputation in the industry as an inventor as well as an entrepreneur.
Dr. Stephen Frattini
Dr. Stephen Frattini is a 2010 graduate of Cornell’s College of Veterinary Medicine, where he focused on aquatic animal disease diagnostics and management. In 2014 he founded the Center For Aquatic Animal Research and Management (CFAARM) to provide services and strategies for those involved in all aspects of the seafood supply chain.
Sarah Johnson
Director of Sales
Sarah Johnson is an experienced sales executive with over 25 years of successful sales history in the corporate world. Sarah received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh and her Master of Science degree in Educational Leadership from Dowling College.
Zachary Davonski
Ocean Engineer, Project Manager
Zachary Davonski is an ocean engineer who specialized in aquaculture systems throughout his education at the University of New Hampshire, and graduated with a Master of Science in Ocean Engineering in 2020. He began interning with Manna Fish Farms back in 2016, and took a full-time position with Manna after earning his degree. He plays a key role in Manna’s pursuit of offshore permits, as well as the development of aquaculture technologies that support sustainable seafood production.
